Dans ce contexte, la cr\u00e9ation d\u2019une passerelle cyclo-pi\u00e9tonne en porte-\u00e0-faux \u00e0 partir d\u2019un viaduc ferroviaire du XIXe\u00a0si\u00e8cle a \u00e9t\u00e9 planifi\u00e9e. Ce viaduc, toujours en service aujourd\u2019hui, est une structure enti\u00e8rement ma\u00e7onn\u00e9e d\u2019une remarquable coh\u00e9rence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La passerelle, r\u00e9alis\u00e9e enti\u00e8rement en acier y est fix\u00e9 et dialogue subtilement avec la structure existante. Plus qu\u2019un simple ajout, l\u2019ensemble du projet aboutit \u00e0 une nouvelle composition poss\u00e9dant ses propres qualit\u00e9s architecturales et paysag\u00e8res. Fonctionnellement, la passerelle offre une liaison directe entre le centre-ville et les quartiers p\u00e9riph\u00e9riques, ainsi qu\u2019une s\u00e9rie de balcons sous les arches du viaduc existant, invitant les usagers \u00e0 faire halte pour explorer le patrimoine b\u00e2ti et paysager d\u2019Albi. Ney &amp; Partners, avec ses partenaires du groupement de Ma\u00eetrise d\u2019Oeuvre, a remport\u00e9 le concours en 2013.
